The room was spacious and comfortable with a big bathroom. The mattress was on the harder side, which was perfect for me. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I also appreciated the fact that there was an elevator in the hotel. The location was great, with parking available on the public street nearby. Breakfast was delicious, with options like tostada with jamon and cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee with milk and cappuccino.
There was only one chair in the room for double occupancy, which was a bit inconvenient. the hotel bar was not functioning during my stay, so I couldn't enjoy a drink when I wanted to.

A gem in the middle of nowhere. The area is perfect for staring at nature. I enjoyed the constant smell of horse dung.
Oh, and let's not forget the abundance of flies. So charming.

What a surprise = this is a proper village hotel and restaurant, simple but lots of character and oh so clean. We got a very warm welcome just after 10pm, hot drinks followed and we were shown to our room. Food was available and looked delicious. The room is simple and functional, comfortable and super clean. No shortage of parking and close to the motorway. Breakfast was customizable, no menu.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The only thing that could've made the breakfast better was having a menu to choose from.

With our baby and toddler in tow, we had a fantastic family experience at Ruta Del Poniente. The hotel provided a safe and comfortable environment for our little ones to enjoy their stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all of our needs were met. The hotel's proximity to various child-friendly activities, such as cycling trails and surfing spots, made our stay even more enjoyable. We were able to create lasting memories with our children while exploring the local area.
My kids wished there had been a small playground or play area within the hotel premises. For families with children, having a designated space for them to play and interact with other kids would have been a great addition.

I was eager to visit Cuesta de la Palma and chose Ruta Del Poniente solely for its location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the free WiFi offered by the hotel. It was a great convenience during my stay. Additionally, the on-site restaurant and the option of packed lunches were also delightful features.
Air conditioning malfunctioned, resulting in freezing cold rooms. Although I was eventually moved to another room, it took about an hour for it to warm up.
